I am a postdoc in the Maas group at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) and principal investigator of the project Gradient flow techniques for quantum Markov semigroups funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) under the Esprit Programme.

I am working in the fields of operator algebras and operator theory with a focus on Markov operators that occur in a variety of different situations, from analysis on graphs over optimal transport to von Neumann algebra theory.
